Each year in the State of South Dakota hundreds of
children are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse
and severe neglect.
CASA is an organization that trains
Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers to
assure that the child’s best interests are
represented in the court at every stage of the case.
Volunteer court advocates may be the
only voice that truly speaks for a child’s inherent
right to grow up in a safe environment that meets
the child’s best interests.
